I wake at dawn before the sun
and rise to top the peak.

a new start is what I seek.

past lives with wisdom gained.

my heart is now unchained.

light and brighten up the sky.
I close my eyes to take a breath,
a moment to say goodbye.
And in that present moment there,
with the sun rise on this day.
I vow to raise my voice up loud,
to live life without dismay.
The clouds begin to glow red hot as the fire within me grows,
The warrior inside me takes his place
prepared for all life throws.
